I have a young friend who is schizophrenic and is on meds. He approaches it like a person shopping for apples, this one feels better than that one. I did research on this "chemical imbalance" business. Generally speaking the pills they use do NOT balance anything. They are merely a symphony of tranquilizers. It is all about suppressing thought rather than adjusting chemical balance. I was disgusted to learn of the side effects. One drug lost a class action suit for causing diabetes. The company lost a billion dollars and they STILL prescribed it with a warning. UGH.

The self righteous PO (back then) did all the parts on "family study" etc. His late teenage son was ordering porn at a disabled brother's house and smoking weed as he was bedridden. The mother was cheating on the husband. Ended up divorced and the son was DF'd. He was probably the smartest of the lot. The oldest son's wife cheated on him when he was all growed up and an elder too. lol. Everyone worshiped these people as the ideal. Sad really. I knew they were full of crap and thus was very unpopular with them. -

Got a call, my dad is in hospice...

translation, i pointed out that nobody chooses their sexuality.
i've been shunned since daing last september, and really for a year or so after visiting my df'ed brother.

Evidently the show will shift next season to Negan's perspective, showing how he arrived at the person he has become. Perhaps Rick's dominance is over and the show can move on in a new direction? If you think about it, killing just one of Rick's crew for the murder of at least 20 is pretty fair. If only he were to kill Jesus, then no one else would have to die! You have to watch the show to understand that reference.

I loved The Walking Dead but like so many shows that seem to outlive their timelines it has become an exercise of "Catch and release". It never ends, captured and escape etc. This gets old. There's the creep of the season and all his evil disposition to endure. Now its Negan. Ho hum. Never thought I'd say it but I watch it based on habit now. -

I can't take it anymore!
by BlackWolf inmy dad was recently made an elder about maybe 6 months ago, and now he is never around he's always at work or doing some kind of jw crap.
now he conducts the watchtower study and is even doing the special talk tommorow.
he's become an even more strict controlling jerk than he was before, and i'm never allowed to go out and do anything non jw related because he doesn't have the time.

by James Mixon injw seek treatment for mental breakdown.. he tells the physician, my non-jw family tell me i'm nuts because i preach we are the only true religion (jws).. the doctor said that is strange because i have two patients that checked in yesterday and they .
each said they belong to the only true religions.
one is a mormon and the other a muslim.. so the doctor thought i will lock all three up in the same room for the night and see what.

My "best" friend (active JW) has just died

a week or so later, johnny stopped me as i was walking home from elementary school.. "hey--i think i know you.
